Who we are

UpeoLabs is a brand of Koomzea Limited, Kenya.

What the form collects

When signups are open, we collect your email address and record your consent, signup source and time. If you choose an audience category, we also store that optional selection to help tailor future content. We use these details for UpeoLabs launch updates and the newsletter you requested.

Where it goes

The website runs on Vercel. Signup records are stored in a private Supabase database. Hosting and database providers process information to operate these services. When confirmation delivery is enabled, Zoho CPaaS processes your address and confirmation email to deliver it. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. We store hashes of link tokens, confirmation and unsubscribe times, and counters to limit repeated emails. Records are not displayed publicly or sold.

Keeping and removing your details

To limit repeated signup attempts, our server derives a keyed hash from your IP address. The rate-limit table stores this hash, a time window and an attempt count, not your raw IP address. Counters expire after one minute. Expired records older than one hour are removed in batches during later signup attempts; they may remain longer when there is no traffic.

We keep your signup while preparing and running the newsletter, unless you ask us to remove it. Confirmation emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future confirmation emails and newsletters; we retain the subscription status to honour that choice. Signup alone does not reverse an unsubscribe. Contact us to request removal or re-subscription. Unsubscribe token hashes remain until the associated record is removed; expired confirmation hashes are removed on a later confirmation request or removal of the record. Consent and unsubscribe history is retained with the subscription record and removed with it. Delivery-budget records older than 30 days are removed during later email reservations.

Browsing

This holding page adds no advertising trackers or third-party video embeds. Hosting services may process request logs for operation and security. The signup form does not save your email in browser storage.
